Educational Bursary Program

OPSEU Local 330 has established a bursary program to assist members and their children to continue in post-secondary education. The amount of the bursary is $150.00 per award.

The following is the criteria for the OPSEU Local 330 Educational Bursary:

  1. The applicant must be a child, ward or member of OPSEU Local 330 and the member must be in good standing (membership card signed).
  2. The applicant must have a proven record of enrolment in a full-time post secondary institution as of September 2008. Documentation will be requested to verify this but is not required with the application. At this time, part-time studies are not included.
  3. Applications must be received by December 12th at our OPSEU Local 330 Office in order to be considered for the bursary.
  4. One application per person allowed to be submitted.
  5. Winners from previous years may not apply.
  6. Applications must be returned to the designate below by the deadline listed above.
  7. Bursary or bursaries will be awarded by lottery before December 31, 2008.
  8. It is your responsibility to ensure that the application has been sent in enough time through the courier system to reach the OPSEU office by the deadline.

OPSEU Local 330 Executive reserves the right to authenticate all information pertaining to the application prior to any decision. OPSEU Local 330 also reserves the right to publish the award winner's in their local newsletter. Furthermore, OPSEU Local 330 reserves the right to cancel the Bursary Program within six months notice of October 30th of each year.
